On November 27, 1946, Anna Mae and James Francell Childs had a bouncy baby girl who they named BARBARA LEE. She went on 4 to elementary school then to Dunbar High School and eventually nursing school.

Barbara loved attending Catholic church and later crossed over to Baptist, joining Christ Power Church and Ministries.During this journey, she met and fell in love with Clarence “Mickey” Johnson who was the love of her life. She was a state employee working in the nursing field for a number of years.

Barbara leaves to mourn: her husband, Clarence; son, Stuart and daughter, Sharon Shelton; grandchildren, Kimani Leigh Downes, Mia Gabrielle Shelton, Shanna Raquel Mosby, Martz Emmanuel, Christina Evans (Donta), Stuart Vernon Johnson Jr., Tyler Alexander Johnson and Terra Miles; great-grandchildren, Kianna Brille Mosby, Amya and SeVaughn Summons, Logan, Keira, Scarlett, Norah Evans and Nahla Miles; and sisters-in-law, Ariana Lee_Kane and Amadi C Lee-Kane. She is preceded in death by her son Charles Anthony son, mother Anna Mae Taylor, father James Childs and brother James.
