Barbara Deloes Downey was daughter of the late Leonard and Audrey Planter, wife of the late Earl Downey, mother of Roxanne Dutton, Sheila Dutton and the late Michele Dutton and son Jamie downey. She also leaves her stwpdaughter, Jeanette and Paulette; thirteen grandchildren, two grat grandchildren, six nieces, a nephew, eight great-nieces, a great-nephew, five great-great nieces and a great-great nephew. She also leaves; a brother, Leonard Planter and a sister, Patricia Norris and a host of cousins and friends, especially her cousins who ere like sisters, Grace, Cheryl and Yvonne. She will missed by all. Barbara graduated from Douglas High School on June 27, 1957. She attended Johns Hopkins School of Nursing for a year. She worked for the school sustem as a teacher's aide and drove a school bus until she worked for the Department of Public Works, where she worked until she retired. She was a member of the International Free and Accepted Modern Masons and Order of the Eastern Star. She also was a member of the IBPO Elks of the World. She lives a good life and loved her family and friends. She was also a member of New Teatament Church.
