Barbara Mary Hayes, the daughter of the late Charles and Cora Williams was born September 18, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on November 25,2017.

She received her education in the Baltimore City School System attending Houston Woods Jr. High and Frederick Douglas Sr. High. Barbara was a member of The National Honor Society.

After graduating she went to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C. After leaving the F.B.I. she worked for the United States Post Office.

Barbara married Wayne I. Hayes Sr., on June 10, 1974 of which two children were born, Wayne I. Hayes Jr. and Donna P. Hayes.

She made numerous friends wherever she went. She loved to read and work crossword puzzles. Barbara enjoyed working with church groups and bowling. She also loved playing cards and hosting A von and Tupperware parties.

She leaves to mourn: her husband, Wayne I. Hayes Sr.; son, Wayne I. Hayes Jr.; daughter, Donna P. Hayes. She also leaves three sisters, Paula Pinkney- Clappe, Naomi Williams and Frances Wilkins; one brother, Henry Williams; two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, six granddaughters, six grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, two aunts, Rosie Adams and Helen Wheaden and a host of relatives and friends.
