Barbara L. Knox, affectionately known as ''Bobbie'', was born on May 25, 1933 to the lalte John W. and Mildred Curry Hill. She departed this life suddenly on November 19, 2006. We praise God for His all knowing wisdom. Barbara married the late George Knox, and from this union four children were born; the late Joseph Knox, George A. Knox, Cheryl A. Knox Pleasant and Andre L. Knox. Barbara's religious training began at St. Pius Catholic Church. In her later years she was a member of St. Bernardine's roman Catholic Chuch until her death. Barbara received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She began her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital, and ended her fourty-plus years of service ibn that field at St. Agnes Hospital where she continued to work part-time. Barbara was loved by all who met her and by those who knew her through family and friends. We have been blessed by and are thankful for the gift og her spirit, generosity, honesty and most of all her unwavering support of her family. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory; brother , Yahya Abdur-Raheem; sister, Bernadette Burr; sister-in-law, Theresa Boseman; brother-in-law, Arnold Burr; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
