IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara A.
Mcleod
November 25, 1966 – May 31, 2019
Barbara Angela McLeod, beloved daughter of Joseph McLeod and the late Margaret
Downs, was born on November 25, 1966 in Baltimore Maryland. She peacefully
departed this life to be with her savior on May 31, 2019.
She received her education in Baltimore City Public School System. After receiving
her education, she went on to work in Retail Sales IManagement positions, where she
remained until her untimely death. The socializing component of Barbara's employ-
ment was quite fitting, as it gave her an opportunity to meet new individuals and
re-connect with acquaintances from the past, where smiles and laughter was ex-
changed. Barbara's outgoing personality and willingness to help others was a great
asset in employment positions that she held.
Early in life, Barbara was known as "Baby Girl" to family. As she was an only child,
family felt a need to be protective of her. Unknown to many, Barbara was quite shy
but quickly developed a confident, outgoing, and outspoken personality which aided
her as she grew into loving roles of protector, confidante, and friend.
She was pleasantly charming, and frequent requests for her presence of family and
friends were noted. Barbara was often called upon for her opinion and advice. Barbara
was giving and compassionate to others. She would give of her time, and joyously
assist others with charitable acts of kindness. Barbara enjoyed attending family
functions and spending quality time with family. Family was very important to
Barbara and she remained loyal right up until she was called home.
Barbara shared over twenty-six years of love and quality time with her life partner,
Ricardo Fisher whom she loved and adored. Her intimate relationship with Carter was
surely a bond oflove. Ricardo, better known as Carter to family and friends remained
a loyal and dedicated partner, lover, and friend who supported Barbara in all her
positive life endeavors.
Barbara's faith was evident as she drew from it to help get her through adversities in
life. Barbara would often attend church services with her family. Barbara would often
be overheard using the phrase, "God is good All the time". As Barbara's spirit looks
upon us, she softly whispers "J love you family and friends, be strong, as God
continues to care for my soul at rest". "Share in my legacy of love and random acts of
kindness".
Preceding her in death: (mother), Margaret Downs. She leaves to rejoice in her
memory: (loving and loyal partner) Ricardo Fisher and a host of relatives and friends.
