Barbara Ann Minor, daughter of the late Pastor Aubrey Frank Minor and Eseline Minor, was born on February 15, 1948, in Bowling Green, Virginia. She departed this life on February 9 2026, She received her education in the Washington DC and Baltimore City Public School Systems. After high school, she worked in the dietary field and enjoyed a long tenure at Forest Haven Nursing home. In this role, Barbara was promoted to a supervisory role and was known for her amazing work ethic. She retired from Sandtown-Winchester Senior Center.

Barbara Ann Minor gave birth to two children: Sterling Jones and Crystal Lawrence. Barbara loved to travel, listen to music, cook, have a good time, and dress to impress. She was known as a no-nonsense straight shooter. 

Barbara Ann Minor leaves to mourn her two children, Sterling and Crystal; six grandchildren, LaShanta, Juan, Toni, TaShawna (Tavon), Andrea, and Major, and five great-grandchildren. She leaves to mourn four siblings: Geraldine Minor, Doris Mackey, Louise Minor, and Darlene Kidwell (Sean). Five siblings preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory a host nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
