Barbara Jean Spain was born on June 20, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. She is one of eleven children. Barbara, also known as "Bebop" was adored and appreciated by the lives she touched. She departed this life on May 3, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Bebop received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She continued her education at Baltimore City Community College where she majored in Accounting. Photography incited her interest, so she studied that as well. Bebop, a beautiful woman with a captivating smile, took pride in appearance for she always wanted to look her best. She enjoyed bartending, catering and modeling. Barbara married Jesse Spain and is the mother of three children, Dawn Spain, Jesse Spain Jr. and Richard Adams, Jr. Also, she is the proud grandmother of three precious granddaughters, Jessica Spain, Kinady Zollicoffer and Kynnedy Adams. Bebop is rejoicing with her parents, Annie Vee Guy and Macklin Guy, Sr.; and her brothers, John Guy, Macklin Guy, Jr. and Arnold Guy. She will always be missed and loved by her husband, children and grandchildren, as well as, her sisters, Denise Pinder and Lois James; brothers, Donnell Guy, Sr., Larry Guy, Dennis Guy, Anthony Guy, James Jefferson and Steve Jefferson; and a host of family and friends.
