BARBARA REED TURNER , beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, affectionally known as "MaMa & Grand Jean" was called to her eternal heavenly rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Barbara was born September 30, 1943 to the late Harry Levy and Elizabeth Ruffin. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Warren Turner, two sisters, Celeste and Gloria, two brothers, Frank and Barry. Barbara was educated in the Baltimore, MD Public School System and was a graduate of Carver High School. She married her high school sweetheart and from that union was born three children. She was employed as a state worker for many years, subsequently retiring. Barbara was such a giving person and would extend a helping hand to anyone in need. Barbara accepted Jesus as her personal Savior, and was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and feared God. Those left to cherish her memory and carry her legacy of God's love, are her devoted children, Glenn M. of Baltimore MD, Gail R. (James) Jones, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Brian O. of Baltimore, MD, six grandchildren, James III, Jerome (Syreeta), Jarod, Shanelle, Joshua, Shayna, three great grandchildren, Ka'leel, Kai & Journee, one brother, Robert Lee, a host of nephews, nieces, extended love ones, friends, and three dear friends, Mamie, Yvonne & Shirley.
