Barry Lee Daniels, Sr., was born October 22, 1959 to Oscar

L. Daniels and Barbara O. Daniels.

He departed this life to be with the Lord on March 3, 2020

surrounded by his children and loved ones.

He graduated from Edmondson high school. As a child, Barry

enjoyed playing on the little league baseball team. He enjoyed

karate and getting his sister up early every day to train her.

Throughout his childhood he was always his little brother and

sister's protector. As he got older and had kids of his own, he

enrolled them into karate and enjoyed family road trips. Barry

enjoyed talking about the goodness and his love of the Lord,

and shared the gospel wherever he went.

Barry had a profound love of driving and started driving

tractor trailers 30 years ago. He always had an entrepreneurial

mindset and dreamed of being an independent truck driver.

In pursuit of following his dreams, Odaris Transportation was

born. Later he would go on to work with his son, Maurice, to

create MOD Express, were he worked till his fmal days.

Barry leaves to cherish his memory: his spouse, Laura L.

Daniels; sons, Barry L. Daniels Jr. (Sarah), Maurice O. Dan-

iels; daughter, Laura R. Daniels, father, Oscar L. Daniels;

brother, Karl K. Daniels; sister, Jaqueline Shaw (Charles);

grandchildren, James L. Daniels and Justin K. Christian;

special and devoted friend, Cynthia Fitzhugh and three close

friends, Greg, Walt and John and great host ofloved ones.
