Barry Kenneth Jenkins was born on July 19, 1966 to Katie Blake and Barry Kenneth Jenkins Sr.
On December 28,2016, Barry Kenneth Jenkins departed this life after a tragic accident at Bay View Hospital,
during his hospitalization he was always surrounded by his loving and devoted family. His family and friends
affectionately called him Barry or "Franken Barry." Barry grew up in Westport and graduated from South
Western High School; recently completing a HVAC accreditation program and became licensed and certified in
his craft. Barry worked as an independent contractor doing HV AC and Home Improvement along with a variety
of other jobs around Baltimore.
Early in life, Barry was very popular and well liked around Westport. He loved his family, good music, tennis
shoes, playing basketball, weight training, and riding bikes. Barry had a special bond with each of his siblings.
He had a special ability to get on his brothers nerves, but then they would laugh together.
Barry was a generous, fun-loving man who tried to help anyone needing help. He had a special love for his
children and was very proud of them all. Barry's relationship with each of his children was unique and different
but very genuine. He loved each one of them and always kept "it" 100. His children and grandchildren were
his pride and joy.
Barry shared a lifetime of love, memories, experiences and laughter with his companion of 25 years, Blondka
McFadden.
Barry Kenneth Jenkins Jr leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted mother Mrs. Katie Blake, step-father Cecil
Blake, his most precious treasures his five children, Tameaka Spriggs, Whitney Jenkins, Bionca Jenkins, Ebony
Jenkins, his namesake Barry Kenneth Jenkins III, two step-sons; Chris Lawson and Michael Foster, seven
grandchildren: Israel, Mekhia, Knowledge, Craig, Madison, Sophia, and Christopher; two loving sisters; Michele
Jenkins-Hale (Kenneth) and Danyelle Williams; four supportive brothers; Gary Jenkins, Maurice Jenkins,
Kenneth Jenkins and Travis Jones, fourteen nieces and nephews: one uncle; Howard Williams, his life-time love;
Blondka McFadden, one best friend; Anthony Marshall and a host cousins and friends. Barry Kenneth Jenkins'i
father and grandparents precede him in death.
