II Timothy 4:7-8 Beatrice affectionately known as Mother to family, and Bea to friends, was born October 19, 1923 in Halifax County, North Carolina to the late miles and Nary Agnes Simmons. Beatrice Simmons Boyer heard the voice of Jesus say, come unto me and rest, o August 16, 2009 Sunday afternoon at 3:40 pm with family by her side after a long illness. Beatrice attended Halifax County public schools in North Carolina In 1941 she moved toBaltimore, Maryland with her parents. On November 4, 1943 Beatrice married the late William Boyer, SR. From this union 7 children were born. Later in life Beatrice united with the late Charles Davis. From this union 7 children were born. Later Beatrice united with Charles Davis. From this union 6 children were born. Her employment included various types of jobs. During her entire life Beatrice ahd a deep and valued sense of family connected through church, events and conversations. She was a real matriarch in every sense of the word. She gave continued support and abundance of love to each of her children grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed cooking, shopping and going on trips. Beatrice began her spiritual journey at an early age. She attended many churches throuh out her life. One church in particular was Bethel where Bishop Richard and Evangelist Gloria Famer was the founder and pastor. Beatrice used to love her Bishop sing one of her favorite hymns" Learning to Lean on Jesus". God's goodness and mercy allowed her to continue t do His wii as Head Mother of Eternal Life Full Gospel Christian Inc. Church where she followed her cousin Pastor BettyLiz Paige Hargrove. She was not ashamed to pray or praise God at any hour or any place. If you were around Beatrice you definitely heard her say Praise the Lord. She loved to wear her elegant suits with a fancey hat, purse and shoesto match. Beatrice will not only be mourned but missed. Remember, ahe is imbedded in the Lord, but now she's rejoicing forever wiht God! She leaves t cherish her memory 19 children; William BoyerIII, Charles Boyer, Wayne L. Nine son-in-laws; Cassie, Harold Carter Sr, Bernard Fitzgerald, Cederick McMurry, Lee Jones, Jame Blowe, Keith Thompson Sr. Five daughter-in-laws; Deloris Boyer of North Carolina, Shelly Davis, Zinnie Davis of New Jersey, Jeanette Boyer-Robinson and DeloresPook Weathers. Two brother-in-laws; Raymond Boyer and Clyde Clemmons. Ruth Cat Battle of North Carolina and Pastor BettyLiz Paige Hargrove.106 grand children, 136 great grand children, 10 great-grat grand children and one god son Joe Wynn. Three friends she loved to talk to;Miss Barbara, Miss Kennedy and Mr. Fred, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and freinds. Family members that preceded her in death were 6 children Elenora Himbry, Mary Golphin, Barbara Ray, Laponda Davis, Cynitha Dennis Davis. One brother; Lawless Simmons and one grand daughter Shanita Curry.
