Obituary

Beatrice Ross-Glenn was born on September 17, 1932 to the
late Jacob Ross and Rosa Byrd-Ross-Graham.. She received her
call from the Lord on March 31, 2018. She was educated in Balti-
more City Public Schools and attended the "Old Douglas High
School". Later in her life, she took various Bible classes and
received certificates of completion from them.

I n her early years, she played the piano and, oftentimes, g a ve pri-
vat e recitals to her mother. She was married to Francis W. Glenn,
Sr. for 32 years until his death in 1983. At Union Temple Baptist
Church, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Several
years later, she joined Maranatha Memorial Baptist Church under
the pastoral leadership of her brother, the late R e v. Dr. Earnest L.
Ross and then her niece, Rev . Dr. Doris Johnson. Her final years of
worship were spent at Greater New Liberty Baptist Church under
the pastoral leadership of Rev. Earl Johnson.

As she grew in her faith, she grew in ministry and served on the
Pastor's Aide Ministry, Choir, Willing Workers Ministry and was
always serving as a faithful Usher. Beatrice never had formal em-
ployment but she lo ve d ironing for the neighborhood. She took
pride in her ironing and left a signature sharp crease going down
the sleeves of a shirt or leg of pants.

Bea, or Granny as they called her, had a great lo ve for her grand-
children and great grandchildren. She babysat them, walked
them to and from school, and adored them. And they too adored
her unconditionally, daring anyone to say anything against her.

She was preceded in death by her two (2) brothers: Re v . Dr. Ear-
nest L. Ross and Jerry Ross, and her son Francis W. Glenn, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her two daughters, Rosa
Cauthorne and Ernestine Glenn; one son-in-law, Edward
Cauthorne; one daughter-in-law, Veronica Glenn; sister-in-law,
Dorothy M. Ross; Eight (8) grandchildren, Derek, Sr., Darin,
Kenneth (Denise), Keith (Toniqua), Bernard, Anthony, David
(Cindy), and Monica (Justin); 16 great grandchildren and two (2)
great-great grandchildren; niece, Doris Johnson and two (2) neph-
