Beatrice Johnson-Miles, was born in Sumter, South Carolina, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Porter was born February 9, 1925. Nine children preceded her in death. Beatrice departed this life Friday, September 4, 2015. She was educated in the South Carolina School System. She enjoyed soaps, church, dancing, fashion, she loved to cook with her son. Beatrice loved all her children and her plants. She leaves to cherish: her lovely son, John Lee Johnson who took very good care of her, two peas in a pod; twelve grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, Diana Coates (Joe), Evita Thompson (Kevin) Antwonze Johnson (Sharon) great grands Erilisa Moore and Yaniah Daye and a host of other great grands, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, Sheila Brogden, Sheila Robinson; one sister-in-law, Arletta Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
