Belinda Mae Wimbish born March 6, 1964 - January 28, 2022

known to everyone as Aunt Lyn or Linda born and raised in Balti-

more, MD to the late John Wimbish and Hattie Wimbish.

On January 28, 2022 Linda heard the trumpet sound and without

hesitation she answered God's call.

She received her education in Baltimore City public schools and

went on to nursing for over 30 years. After Belinda retired, she

went on to nurture and care for her beloved family by hosting

family barbecues and dinners for all occasions.

One of Belinda's favorite ways to pass time was Karaoke. She

would often challenge people to come and perform karaoke with

her. Belinda's competitive spirit would cause so much excitement

at every event. Linda also loves to joke and play spades and five

thousand with family and friends regularly.

Linda was known to become a surrogate mother to all the chil-

dren in the neighborhood who needed a listening ear and shoul-

der to lean on.

She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother,

sister, aunt and cousins, to all who encounter her generosity,

presence, and care.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory to her husband Alton Free-

man Sr.; three children, Sabrina Peyton (Morris), Diane Freeman,

and Alton Freeman Jr. (LaToya); grandchildren, Kirk Royster, Carlos

Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Erica Rhames, Mya Freeman, Armani

May, La'truth Freeman, Jason Rhames; siblings, Delphine Sim-

mons, Russell Wimbish (Patty); three long time special friends,

Charles Brodie, Kathy Manson, Albert Peyton.

Preceding her in death were her brothers, Gerald Wimbish, Rascoe

Wimbish, Joseph Speller, and Albert Speller.
