Obituary

Benjamin O'Neal McCutcheon, Jr., was born on August 20, 1944, to the late
Benjamin O'Neal McCutcheon Sr. and the late Lillian Evangeline
Locklear-McCutcheon. He departed this life on June 9, 2016 after a lengthy
illness.

"Benny", who he was affectionately known as, enjoyed camping, music,
working on cars, building model cars, cooking on the grill and spending
time with family and friends.

Benny received his education from Baltimore City Public School System.
After graduating from Forest Park Senior High, he attended Maryland
State College Eastern Shore. When he returned home from college he
began working at United Appeals as a photographer in 1965. Later in the
year he joined the Army National Guard and received many achievements
for his hard work and dedication to the military. In 1968, Benny also
began working for the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer
with his father. He left the Department of Corrections in 1976. Due to
illness, Benny retired from the National Guard in 1988 with an Honorable
Discharge. Benny couldn't adjust to being retired and went back to work
for Toyota Motor Corporation in 1990 and finally retired in 1996.

Benny met and married Phyllis Hoover of who out of that union had two
daughters, D'Ana and Antia. Years later, Benny met and married Tiki
Meda Johnson-McCutcheon. For the past 18 years, he had a special friend,
Pamela Brown.

He leaves to mourn: 2 daughters by Phyllis McCutcheon, D'Ana Preston
(Andre) and Antia McCutcheon; a wife, Tiki Meda Johnson-McCutcheon;
2 step daughters, Zeanyanna Johnson and Vandessa Johnson; a special
friend, Pamela Brown and her daughter, Renita Brown; a childhood best
friend, Charles "Dickie" Evans; 7 grand children, 3 great-grandchildren, 7
step-grand children and a host of family and friends.
