Berdell Felder Grooms, daughter of the late Elbert and Ethel Felder was born on January 12, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed her life on Saturday, May 23, 2015 after a fatal fall. Berdell Grooms received her formal education in Baltimore Public Schools. She married her sweetheart Mr. Caryle Grooms on January 11, 1955 and out of their union two children were born. The late Cynthia McFadden and Michael Grooms whom she loved and cherished so much. Berdell worked many years as a license Daycare provider for Baltimore City and was known for her affectionate feelings towards everyone she came in contact with. Berdell had a beautiful smile and her favorite food dish was bar-b-que chicken and rice pudding. She loved her grandchildren and help raised her 1st grandson Antonio Mason, Jr. Berdell was very proud that Antonio graduated from college with honors. Her favorite get away was traveling on the bus downtown to Lexington Market to purchase raisin honey buns and Chinese food. She leaves to cherish memory: her sisters, Theresa Wheeler who stayed by her side until her departing in life and her other sister, Beverly Keys who wasn't shy to let the nursing home staff know she wasn't afraid to speak her mind; grandchildren, Antonio Mason, Khalilah Grooms, Malik Grooms, and Aaliyah McFadden; nieces Tamika Keys, Sherrie Wheeler, Serena Met.all and Rita Wheeler; nephews, Dwayne Keys and Anthony Wheeler, Jr.; son-in-law, Mr. Bobby McFadden and a host of other grandchildren, relatives and friends.
