Harris
January 27, 1955 – February 15, 2019
Bernard Harris son of the late Emma Elizabeth Harris and William
Frisby was born on January 27, 1955 in Baltimore Maryland. On February 15,
2019 - God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked
down upon the earth, and saw his tired face. He put His arms around him and
lifted him to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
Bernard received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. After
graduating from Southern High in 1974 a young Bernard joined the Navy. He
was able to travel the would and was introduced to many different cultures.
Bernard served his country for 4 Y2 years until he was honorably discharged. After
returning home he attended RETS Electrics School for drafting.
Bernard loved working around people, and he was truly a peoples person. He lived
in New York and was employed with Sherman Williams for more many years
before retuning back home to Baltimore. Thought-out his life he held many
different titles and position, but it was his dream to work and give back to his
fellow veterans. This dream led his to a position with the Veteran Affairs of
Baltimore. Where he stay employed until he retired. Bernard loved his job and it
was one of the highlights of his life.
Bernard received Christ at an early age, and he loved the Lord. He walked in faith
and trusted that God had a reason for everything. In 1998 he became an active
member of the Christin Memorial Church.
To know Bernard was too love him, he was a very kind hearted and soft spoken
person at times, but don't get him started. He could light up a room and he was
the life of the party. He enjoyed to simple things in life. He loved to tell stories and
could always put a smile on your face, with one of his jokes and even a dance
move. He was really funny and his inside joke with his family was his NICK
NAME that changed every year. If he was 58 you could call him B58 and when he
turned 59 he was B59 and so on. Barnard always made you feel at home and
apart of his family. He will truly be missed.
In 2013, Bernard meet and married Diane Cator and they built a home filled with
love and laughter. They loved to spend time with each other and their family.

Bernard leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife and love of his life Diane
Harris, a lowing duaghter Marcia Harris, three step children Latisha , Darryl and I
Dante, ten grandchildren Marisa, James Jr., Montrell Jr., Latarsha, Braina,
Pink, 'Darryl Jr., Darrell, Daylin and DJ., seven great grandchildren Kasyn,
Mekiyah, Brooklyn, Ta'bre, Krishell, Anthony Jr., Autumm, thress sisters, Gloria,
IflY 'Jean, and Katrena, six brothers Ronald, Marvin, Eric (Pasty), Winston
(El:loree), Melvin, Jerome and Larry Harris whom proceeded him in death, three
half-brothers Charles(Marsha), Kurney, Cliff Firbsy, a friend for life, Warren
Beads, and a hos of nieces, rnepheioe, cousin and friends.
