Bernard Lee Williams, middle son, of the late Oscar and Alice Williams, was born on March 29, 1932 in Lynchburg, VA. He departed this life after a brief illness on June 11, 2011. In his earlier years, Bernard was educated in a one room school in Forest, VA, before moving to Baltimore, MD, where he received his High School Diploma at Briscoe Vocational High School, with a trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic. He met and married the late Camora Coates and from that union there were two children the late Denise and Laverne Williams. After his divorce, Bernard met his current wife, Pearl Williams and from that union came Tyrone Garrison and Tara Williams. Bernard always enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was automobiles or engines. He was honorably discharge from the U.S. Army as a PFC in 1953. He retired from Alban Tractor in 1991 as a diesel mechanic; however, he began working for Midway Charter in 1975 and continued with the company until 2008 as a driver. Bernard worked for Allied Van Lines for 19 years, as well as, E.J. Korvettes J&R Bus Line and other companies. Bernard, Mr. B, as his family and friends affectionately knew him enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Charm City Van Club, where he received multiple trophies and awards. Bernard was also a member of the Masons. Bernard leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Pearl, two sons Raynard and Tyrone, one daughter Tara, one brother, Walter Audrey. Seven grandchildren: LaSondra, Tria, Tiyon, Ty'Quon, Tynajaha and Taniya. Five great-grandchildren: Lynnia and Justin Powell and JOrdan Young. Ten sisters-in-law: Appolonia of Palms, MApreceded in death by Oscar, Marian, Barbara, Deborah, Beverly, Joyce, Brenda, Linda, Phyllis and Sylvia. Three brothe-in-laws: Theodore, Robert and Richard Butch and a host of nieces, nephews, toher relatives and friends.
