Bernice Viola Green entered into Heaven's gate on February 20, 2015. The daughter of the late William Henry and Marie Baptist was born on August 19, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter T. Green, two sons, Arnold and Larry, and daughter, Charlene. Bernice received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She worked as a homemaker and caretaker for Orioles manager Frank Robinson, radio announcer, Fat Daddy, Izzy's store owner, Norman Wexler, various lawyers and many others during her lifetime. Bernice enjoyed traveling, entertammg, and cooking for family and friends. She adored her two dogs, Champ and Duke. Bernice had a beautiful spirit and was passionate about helping people who were in need. Bernice was a woman who loved the Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church located on Caroline and Orleans Street, where she took her children for Sunday School and worship services. Later on, Bernice lead her children to join New Shiloh Baptist Church on the corner of Fremont Avenue and Lanvale Street. Left to treasure and cherish precious memories are her sons, Walter Jr., Lemuel, and Kevin Green; daughters, Paulette Lucas, Bernadette, JoAnn, and Michelle Green; one brother, Eugene (Gwen) Baptist; two sisters, Bertha Wilder and Clorice Wells; sister in-law, Louise Baptist; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
