Obituary

Miss Beetie Jean Cooper, the daughter of the late Carl and Cozetta
Cooper, was born September 25, 1941 in Nashville, North Carolina. She
was the second oldest of six siblings. One sister, Nettie Clee Battle and
three brothers, Randolph Moody, Roger Lee Cooper and Howard Cooper
preceded her in death.

She received her education in the North Carolina Public School
System, where she excelled as a student.

Bettie Jean, affectionately called "Jean" by her family and friends was
a cheerful person; enjoyed a hearty laugh and was quick to say "Thanks
a lot", for anything that was done for her.

She departed this life on February 23, 2016 after a lengthy illness as
a resident at Genesis Long Green Nursing Home, Baltimore, Maryland.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Angela White and
Wanda Perkins White; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren,
two great nieces, three great nephews; one sister, Pattie Mae Little all of
Baltimore; one aunt, Cora Cooper of Clayton, North Carolina and a host
of cousins and other relatives.

A 'special' "Thank You" to the employees at Genesis Long Green Nursing
home. Also to Mrs. Rosemary Cheese, a devoted roommate. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home Wednesday, March 02, 2016 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Email Details 2140 N. Fulton Ave
