Bettie Johnson, the wife of the late Johnnie F. Johnson who preceded her in
death. Passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from complications
due to a stroke. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 14, 1936. She was
educated in the Baltimore City Public School system.

She married Johnnie in December 1963; the late Rev. Baynard of Shiloh CC
Church married them. Bettie was best known for being the neighborhood
childcare provider. She was also an active foster care provider for Baltimore
City. During the summer, she would often sell many summertime treats. She
was also an active member of the Elks organization, temple #761. She also
served as a "Holy Host" at Shiloh CC Church.

Bettie is survived by her daughter, Melvina J. Wade of Baltimore, Maryland,
her granddaughter, Brandie Holland, two great grandchildren, Ahron Tracy
and Brielle Miller. Two nieces, Christine Fisher and Laverne Damon. One
great niece, Krystle Fisher and one great nephew, Jayden Faison.
