Obituary

Betty Marie Webster Thames, daughter of the late Fannie M Johnson was born May 16, 1940. Betty departed this life on June 6, 2014, after a lengthy illness. Betty attended Baltimore County Public Schools. She workedfor Baltimore City Board of Education for over 20 years until she retired. Betty was an enormous spirit, she was the life of the party every- where she went. Her courage, strength and perseverance throughout her life, is a testament to who she was as a woman. Betty Thames met and married the former Joseph Thames Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Sharon and Teresa Ball; two sons, Joseph Thames Jr. and (Hayes Ball II who proceeded her in death); one daughter-in-law, Keisha Thames; jive grand- daughters, Jeneen, Courtney, B itto ny, Erin and Taylor; jive grandson, Devin, Christopher, Phillip, Tyquan and (Hayes III who proceeded her in death); four great grandchildren, Cayla, Austin, Zuri and Cree; two close cousins, Pat and Larry; a special friend, Betty Thames (sister-in-law) and a host offamily and friends.
