IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bobby G.
Fraser
March 1, 1944 – November 9, 2017
Bobby Gerald Fraser entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born to the late Frank Sf. and Ethel B. Fraser in Georgetown, South Carolina on March 1, 1944.
Bobby gave his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of St. Stephens AME Church in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Bobby received his formal education at Howard High School in Georgetown, South Carolina. He was employed through various companies throughout his lifetime.
After moving and residing in Baltimore, Maryland to live with his brother Frank, he met and married Pearl Jeanetta Redd. From this union his one and only baby girl was born "little Doretha" as he affectionately called her. It was no secret of how bright the sun shined whenever he spoke of her.
Bubba as he was affectionately called by his family and friends was a wellmannered man who was respected and loved in his community. To all who knew him would attest of his passion for cooking and eating, especially the foods that he wasn't supposed to have. Checkers was his favorite hobby, he would say "I will beat you at any time, any place with one hand tied behind my back". He was the best at the game of checkers. If you asked him for anything he would definitely go out of his way to do whatever he could to help, but just know that you would not take advantage of him. He was one of the smartest to ever walk this earth. His love for his only grandson Myles Lancaster was the light that kept him fighting to live, and he fought long and hard. Myles and "Pop Pop" often talked about the Ravens and the Orioles games. He was indeed a people person, there wasn't anybody that he didn't know, and all I can say is that he loved everyone and everyone loved him. He didn't miss a day without calling his sister "Mamma" whom he loved dearly, they shared a special brother and sister bond.
He was preceded in death by his, Father Frank Fraser Sr., Mother Ethel B. Fraser, Brothers Frank Jr., Beverly and James Fraser, and a special friend Pat.
He leaves to cherish his memories Daughter Doretha Fraser-Lancaster (Michael), Grandson Myles Lancaster, Stepson Anthony Parks (Melissa), Sister Doretha Mark of Baltimore, Maryland, Brother Herman Fraser of New York. Thelma and Margaret of Georgetown, South Carolina, Mary Jean and Agnes of New York. Special Friend Pearl Fraser and Dorothy of Baltimore, Maryland. Special niece Regina and nephew Edward Mark who he often thought of as his children and a great nephew Michaud. Also, Ronnette and Michelle his adopted daughters. And a host of nieces, nephews and other and friends.
