BRANDON GENE STROUD, the son of the late Alvin G. Stroud and Cheryl C Ruffin, was born on November 24, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. He entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2013. Brandon was baptized at an early age at the First Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church. He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He received his General Equivalency Diploma (GE.D.) in September 2004. He received an Associate of Arts Degree in Information Technology from Ashford University in 2013. Brandon held various jobs throughout his life. He worked for Aramark Inc. in the M&T Bank Stadium. He also worked as part of the kitchen staff at the Phaze 10 Restaurant. Brandon marched to the beat of his own drum. You would frequently see him walking alone. But if he saw you he would stop and give you a big smile and say, "What's up." He was a fun loving person who entertained himself by freestyle rapping and watching movies. His favorite movie was "The Five Heartbeats". Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander and Susan Ruffin; and his two best friends, Antonio Blackwell and Thomas Cunion. Brandon leaves to cherish the memory of his life: his mother, Cheryl C. Ruffin; two aunts, Teres Thompson (Jerome) and Carolyn Broidy; one uncle, Andrei Ruffin (Lorone); cousins, Dante Coates, Nicholas Coates, Marquis Clanton, Ronald Chisolm, Jamal Ruffin, Justin Ruffin, Kera Thompson and Joshua Ruffin; and a host of family and friends.
