BRENDA A. BRIGHTFUL, daughter of the late Dorothy Brown and George Howard, was born on September 2, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. God sent His angels down to help Brenda Brightful fly away home at the age of sixty-six after a battle with cancer. Brenda received her education from Forest Park High School. After graduation, she was a member of The United States Army and afterwards was employed with The Veterans Administration Outpatient Pharmacy for over twenty years. She then worked for The Department of Labor in Washington D.C. until retirement. But that wasn't enough, she came out of retirement to work for the Baltimore County Department of Social Services. It was easy for Brenda to make friends wherever she went, and she was well known to voice her opinion about whoever and whatever no matter what. You can always count on her for her honest opinion. Brenda was preceded in death by: her sister, Veronica Brown-Russell; brothers, Anthony Brown and Larry Brown; great-nephew, Kennard Hopkins Jr. (Boopie): and granddaughter, Joanna Curbeam. Her memory will be cherished by: her only child, Michele Brown-Curbeam; her husband, Joe Curbeam; her grandchildren, Taylor and Skylor, and Aaliyah; her loving sister, Dorothy Brown-Pulliam and brother-in-law Gary and their children, David, and She'kell with her daughter Kendsey; her niece, Monica and her child Laverne Brickus-Brown and husband Andre with their children, Brianna, Deandre, Ethan and Kalea: her niece, Antionette Brown and her husband, Dwayne and their children, Dea and Darrell, and his children; other nephews and nieces, Larry, Calvin, Pamela. Brenda also has an aunt, Doris Dixon who is ninety-one years young and her cousins, Cholgene and Velma. Brenda was also a foster parent to her daughters Tawania Moore-Winder, Kendra Jones-Gaitling, Angelo Rodriquez, and Primrose Stukes. She was also blessed with a daughter-in-law Lisa Jennings. She also leaves her significant other Mr. Ivory Joseph Dennis (her ex-husband who she remained very close to). Memorial Service Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
