Brenda Drake, was born on May 20, 1942 to the late James Willy
Lomax and Gertrude Lomax in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed
this life on Wednesday evening February 10, 2016 after battling a
lengthy illness.

She received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools. She
also attended Bay College where she received a Business Degree.

Brenda enjoyed playing cards, shopping, and watching sports. But
most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Brenda was employed by Friendship Airport, John Hopkins University,
Blue Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center while she retired.

One daughter preceded her in death, Dana Drake and one daughter-
in-law, Adrienne Drake.

She leaves to cherish in her memory: children, Renee' Drake, Andre
Drake Sr. (Kim), Cheryl Pearson (Kenny), Wanda Waters (Jimmy),
Sean Drake (Tanya), and Dwayne Drake (Dasheena); sisters, Robin
and Adrienne; brothers, Rodney Whitney; grandchildren, Shannon,
Andre, Niesha, Tarika, Amanda, Brachey, Audrey, Dwayne, Shameka,
Justin, Toni, Sean, Destiney, Jada, Tony, Tyshea, Isaiah; great grand-
children, Deandre, Damont, Joshua, Ariyanna, Lil Shannon, Jawan,
Drelyn, and a host of other relatives and friends. Special friend,
