Brenda Joyce Elliott, daughter of the late Mayo and Alice Elliott.
Brenda was born November 25, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland.
She transitioned this life to be with her
Lord and Savior on July 30, 2019.
Brenda was affectionately known as Budda. She accepted her
christian life at an early age, attending Enron Baptist Church.
Budda received her education in the Baltimore City Public School
System. She graduated with a degree in nursing from Baltimore
City Community College. She had a profound love for the elderly.
Brenda held various positions in the healthcare field where she
received numerous accolades and certifications .
In her early years, she met Elmer Marable from this union God
blessed them with two daughters Tracy and Usa Elliott.
Brenda loved to host and cook for all her friends and family. She
enjoyed traveling, shopping and having a good time. Brenda loved
to party with all her good girlfriends as she would call them.
Brenda was a fashioni5ta who loved to pamper herself as well as
her girls. She had all the latest hairstyles with Wendy being her
hairstylist for many years. Brenda loved crabs and mudslides. She
was kind, caring, and loving. To know her was to love her. Brenda
will be deeply missed by all.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Usa Powell
(Anthony Williams) Tracy Elliott (Shallice Scott); grandchildren
including her first and only grandson Anthony Williams Jr.,
LaKesha Williams, Tyesha Elliott, Sahkia, Shantia, Shawntaye,
Trina, and Derrick Deshields.; great grandchildren, Trania and
Tranay Williams, Dominic Brooks, Cidney Melvin, and Avah
Williams; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She
also leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted friends, Vickie
Johnson, Gay Wise, Unda Chisholm,
Doretha Coley and Clifton Lyons.
Her parents Alice and Mayo Elliott, son in-law Gregory Powell,
good friends Jocie, Hattie Holloman, Lauretta Palmer,
and godson Devin Johnson, preceded her in death.
