Obituary

Brenda Audrey Jones, daughter of the late Zelma and Robert Jones, was born on September 14, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on July 16, 2025. Brenda grew up in Baltimore City and attended schools within the Baltimore City Public Schools system. Brenda worked as a GNA at Keswick Multi-Care Center for 35 years until her retirement. Brenda had a strong love for her family. She adored her son Troy, who was the light of her life. Their bond was unshakable, filled with love and strength. Her greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother. Jasmine and Tyree were the pride of her heart and the center of her world. She poured her love, wisdom, and strength into them, creating a bond that was unbreakable and deeply cherished the memories they shared, the laughter, the lessons, and the unconditional love will remain with Jasmine and Tyree forever.

Brenda spent over 50 beautiful years with her devoted lifelong partner, Joseph Pulliam. Also known as Mr. Joe, Uncle Joe, and Pop Pop. Joe was a man she adored. Their love was deep, steady, and full of good times, trust, and understanding. Together, they built a life rich in meaning, memories, and joy. She also held a special place in her heart for her brother Butch, whose bond meant the world to her. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with unconditional love. Her brother was her best friend. She loved to spend time with family, with whom she loved to cut up and laugh. Their time together was full of fun, teasing, and the kind of deep, familiar joy that only family can bring. Brenda leaves to mourn her beloved son, Troy Jones; her lifelong partner, Joseph; her cherished grandchildren, Jasmine and Tyree Jones; her brother, William Jones; her best friend, Joyce Conley, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Zelma Jones, brothers and sisters, Robert Jones, Barbara Dickerson, Thomas Hamlett, Lynette Johnson, Muriel Johnson, and Peggy Barnes. Brenda Jones legacy is one of love, loyalty, laughter, strength, and the courage to be oneself. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as the fierce and loving soul she was.
