Brenda Melvina Player, was born August 22, 1945 to the late Roberta

Presbury and the late Andrew Ridley. On May 12, 2019 Brenda was

given her wings to go home.

She lived in Baltimore, Maryland and was educated through the Balti-

more Schools.

Growing up she was a member of several churches, Southern Baptist,

Bethel etc. Brenda worked for years as a Medical Records Admin. and at

several hospitals until she retired.

Brenda was very artistic, she loved to draw and paint. She loved to

crochet and knit clothing for her daughter and cousins and everyone got

a crochet blanket. For every holiday she baked a cake representing that

day. She loved to travel and when she wasn't traveling she loved to spend

time with her family.

She was preceded in death by sons, David Player and Gary Player and

granddaughter Lakeisha Player.

Brenda leaves to mourn: her devoted son, William Player; daughter,

Wanda Player; grandchildren, Antonio, Natia, Chanel, Tyrese, Shanika,

Gary, Rysheem, Garionna; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Bria, Montez,

Noah, Nixan, Nialynn, Kalyn, Tony, Tyler, Josh and a host of nieces,

nephews, cousins and friends and a special best friend, Theresa Under-

wood.
