Obituary

The first day of June 1959 was a beautiful one when and Mable Alice welcomed their only daughter Brenda Carleen in the world. What a wonderful way to start a week! Brenda received her valuable education through the Baltimore City School System. Brenda made many wonderful friends in her life; including Velma and Tammy-Jean McCoy and Denise Mitchell. From diving tractor-trailer to working retail, Brenda was a modern day renaissance woman. But working in the healthcare field was her passion. She loved her patients. They were like family to her. Brenda continued to work in the field until her health deteriorated. Brenda experienced love at an early age. She was married to Gerald Barksdale until his sudden and untimely death. Many years went by when she met her best friend and soul mate Milton Randall, Jr. There were married on Valentines Day in 1990. this beautiful union lasted for 19 years. Brenda was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Charleen, Dartwan, Princess, Princaya, Synain, and Xavier didn't want for anything. She was a loving and devoted sister; doing anything and everything to make sure her brothers were okay! Brenda and her cousin Dorothy were so close; a lot of people thought they were sisters. they were inseparable. She will truly be missed. Brenda suffered a lot of loss in her life including that of her devoted husband Milton Randall, Jr., her parents William and Mable Alice Jones; her brother Derrick, and many other family members and friends. Brenda was ill for may years, but her health took a turn for the worst in January 2012. It was obvious that Brenda wasn't going to be with us much longer. On October 16, 2012 at 2:17 pm, Brenda knew it was time to enter her eternal slumber knowing that her family would be alright. Brenda leaves to cherish her beautiful memories; two children Dartwan Hulin and Charleen Price; on daughter-in-law, Michelle Hulin; five brothers, Dean White, Larry, William, Linwood, and Errick Jones; one sister, Maxine Jones of Syracuse, New York; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Jones; four grandchildren, Princess and Princaya Sanders, Synaia Devaughn, and Xavier Webb; special cousins, Dorothy and Pamela Griffin, Adalae Davis, and Lamonte Tyler; two "special daughters" Shamaica Bradley and Savon Devaugh-Gaines and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
