Buffy Joy Childress-Johnson, daughter of the late Margaret and Robert Childress was born June 15, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 25, 2017.

Buffy received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System. She met and later married the love of her life Nathaniel Johnson in 2008. She was a dedicated wife and homemaker who loved her family dearly.

Buffy leaves to mourn: her husband, Nathaniel Johnson; Son, Robert William Scheufele; Siblings, Bobby and Carol Childress, Theresa Hawsey, Ruth Bendos; Mother-in-law, Shirley Ledbetter; 2 sister-in- laws, Denise Dunston and Nadia Johnson; 1 brother-in-law, Donald Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Buffy also had a special place in her heart for her aunt Frany Coyle, and Rusty Coyle along with her sisters Theresa, Carol and Ruth and brother Robert.
