Buster Junior Davis, after along illness, departed this life early on Sunday morning, February 11, 2007. Buster was born on April 19, 1935, in Williamsburg, SC, to the late Rev. John Lee Davis and thre late Ezeta Tisdale Davis. He attended public schools in Williamsburg County, SC and Baltimore, Maryland. He was multi-talented and skilled in a variety of construction trades. He supervised a construction and demolition business founded by his father. He eventually owned and operatred his owned construction business, Construction Company, and was area before widely known in the trade throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan area before his health began to fail. Buster was a faithful member of the Christ Spiritual Baptist Churh where he served in a variety of positions. He was very supportive of the founding pastor. He enjoyed music and participated in several quartet groups over the years. Buster was also very fond of automobiles even he couldn't count the number of cars he owned in his lifetime and he enjoyed road trips. He had a big heart and was generous with his time and possessions. he loved to laugh and was always fun to be around. He was always did what ever he could to help family, friends or strangers alike. Over the years he has been a role model to many young men showing them the advantages and blessings of honest hard work. He is survived in this life by his long, devoted companion Martha Fair, his former wife Rosa Casey Davis, daughter Gloria Glover, son Gerald Davis, daughter Neesy, and several grand-and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his suster Inez and his sister Rev. Dr. Wilhelmina Davis Thorpe. He also leaves to mourn his sister Eunice Davis Coleman, brother Jay Davis Katie, brother Jerry Davis Josephine, brother Rev. John H. Davis Ilene, sister Myrtle Cunningham John, and brother Rev. Donald Davis Maria.
