Calvin Lee Blunt, son of the late Floyd Alexander and Daisy Lee Staton,
was born on February 26,1952 in Virginia. He departed this life to return
back to his heavenly home on Thursday, February 7, 2019.

He received his education in the New Jersey Public School System. After
high school he later joined the Army. Years later he retired from West
Rock after 20 years of service.

In April 2015 he married the love of his life Janice Rivers-Blunt. They
were very close did everything together and he will be missed very much
by her.

Calvin was a very quiet person who would help anyone who needed help
and loved to attend Loch Raven Baptist Church under the leadership of
Pastor Scott A. Neiswender. He loved his church family and they loved
him.

He loved to watch football, eat out, watch tv, travel, and buy his wife
beautiful gifts.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His lovely wife Janice Blunt; beloved
daughter, Jerrica Blunt; five sisters, Diane Staton, Peggy Staton, Jacque-
line Staton-Johnson (Herb Johnson), Valarie Staton (Tracy Simms) Clau-
dine Staton (deceased); three brothers, Floyd Staton (deceased) Michael
Staton (deceased) and Eugene Staton (deceased); seven step children,
Gwendolyn (George), Doreathia (Wayne), Samuel (Pauline), Wanda
(Kenneth), Deric (Nikki), Linda (Irvin), Raymond (Amanda), twelve
grandchildren, ten great grand children. A host of nieces and nephews
other relatives and friends.
