CALVIN PRESTON CANNADY, son of the late Joe Morris Cannady and Lula Mae Smith-Cannady, was born on June 19] 1953 in McColl] South Carolina. He departed this life on Monday] January 20] 2014. Calvin] who was the eldest of four children] received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Calvin worked several odd jobs. One job he had passion for was delivering newspapers in various areas of Baltimore City. Calvin was a devoted member of New Freedom Baptist Church. Calvin] who was affectionately called "Raul" by his brother Gill] was a very lovable and kind-hearted person who would do anything for anyone] especially his family. Calvin unconditionally loved his family. In addition to the love he had for his family] he had a true love for all kinds of music and really loved to dance. Calvin will be sincerely missed by everyone and most of all] his family. Calvin leaves to mourn: his sisters] Barbara Kelly and Lisa Cannady- Gainer; three brothers] James Smith (Wanda), Timothy and Anthony Jones; brother-in-law] Cecil Kelly; two nephews] James Smith Jr. and Earlie Preston Evans [r.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
