CAMILLUS JACKSON was born on July 25, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was called home on November 17, 2013, after a serious illness. He was the beloved son of the late Maggie and Camillus Jackson who preceded him in death. He was the father of the late Camillus Malcolm Jackson, who passed on January 1, 2013. He was known to all by the name of "Slick." He enjoyed playing pool, gambling and hanging out in the Sandtown-Winchester area. He enjoyed listening to various musical artists such as Anita Baker and Phyllis Hyman. He was a very private and humorous person. He also enjoyed cooking (the chef of the family). He leaves to mourn: his devoted wife of thirty-nine years, Linda Carter Jackson; four granddaughters, Tameka, Latia, Kelli and Keaira Jackson; five great-grandchildren, Marcus Bell, Camille and Brooklynn Ray, Tamiya Rhodes and Autumn Robinson; godson, James Young (Pup); goddaughter, Kimberly. He also leaves one brother, Stanley Jackson (Bernice); and sister, Joyce Jackson; three brothers-in-law, Joseph Carter, William Carter (Wanda), Robert Carter (Karan); four sisters-in-law, Bernice Jackson, Lorraine Carter Douglass of Washington, D.C., Charlotte Carter Patterson of Baltimore, Maryland, Allenia Green Goodwin of Baltimore, Maryland (Shirley Carter Smith of Washington, D.C. preceded him in death); a host of nieces, nephews and several friends of thirty years or more.
