He was called home suddenly on January 1, 2013. He was the beloved son of Linda and Camillus Jackson. He was educated in the Baltimore City school system. Malcolm, "Big Hopper" as he was known to his friends, enjoyed playing pool, gambling and hanging out in the Sandtown-Winchester area. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. When at home he would listen to jazz and spirituals. Malcolm was charismatic individual who lit up any room. To know "Big Hopper" was to love him. He was a very proud person who loved having fun. He will be truly missed. He leaves to mourn: his parents, Linda Carter Jackson and Camillus Jackson; four daughters, Tameka, Latia, Kelli and Keaira Jackson; four grandchildren, Marcus Bell, Camille Ray, Brooklynn Ray and Tamiya Rhodes; and goddaughter, Keaira Henson; godbrother, James Young Pup. He also leaves seven aunts and four uncles, Lorraine Carter Douglass of Washington, D.C., Charlotte Carter Patterson, Allieen Goodwin and Joyce Jackson, Stanley Jackson Bernice, Joseph Carter, William Carter Wanda and Robert Carter Karan; one great-aunt, Mildred Carter of Washington, D.C. Also to mourn is his first cousin, best friend and brother, Kevin Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends THE BROKEN CHAIN We didn't know that morning that God would call your name, In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
