CARL D. PERKINS, son of the late Nathaniel

and Eloise Perkins was born on August 22,

1949 in Kershaw, South Carolina. On

April 3, 2022, following a brief illness, Carl

departed this life at Future Care Cold

Spring on Harford Road. Preceding him in

death was also a sister, Delores Perkins.

His parents moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he was

raised and attended Public Schools. He accepted Christ as his

personal Savior at an early age. He enjoyed having prayer

sessions with his partner, Celinda.

Khalil, as he was affectionately known by family and friends

worked side by side with his father and family for years in

their Home Improvement Business. He was an asset to his

neighborhood and all that knew him. He loved listening to

old music, Doo Wops, playing cards and chess. He enjoyed

crabbing and fishing with his Mom and Dad before their

passing. He became a member of Hopkins Elder Plus, where

he was very well liked and taken good care of.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: A partner of thirty-

seven (37) years, Celinda Morris; one (1) daughter, Tyrena

Hayman; two (2) sons, DeAndre Williams and Frank

Williams; a Godson, in which he shared the same birthday,

DeAndre Britton; five (5) grandsons, DeAndre Williams, Tyler

Hayman, Timothy Hayman, Bryant Hayman and Camron

Williams; two (2) granddaughters, Aisha Williams and

DeAisha Williams; one (1) great grandson; sisters, Peggie

Hayes (Clyde Hayes) of South Carolina and Ernestine Lewter

of Baltimore; one (1) brother, Jesse Perkins; two (2) aunts,

Frances Lloyd of New Jersey and Janey Miller of South

Carolina; one (1) uncle, Ernest Perkins of South Carolina; four

(4) nieces, six (6) nephews; and a host of great nieces, great

nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
