Carlester Sherman, son of Earnest Sherman and the late Charlotte Sherman,
was born on October 16,1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life
on May 10, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools System. After
receiving his G.E.D. he went in the United States Army where he served
three years and was honorably discharged. Carlester held several jobs in
Baltimore the last job before becoming ill was Pep Encouraging People Inc.
where he drove the clients around.

He has a devoted wife Grace Sherman whom he met in 1986. They fell
deeply in love with one another. So much that three years later, on Novem-
ber 21, 1989 they were married. Carlester has one son, Michael Sherman
and one grandson, Michael Jr. Three young men that he has raised as if they
were his sons, Curtis, Antoine and Ellison.

Carlester was well loved by many and will be sincerely missed by everyone.
Some called him Sherman but most called him Ice. The story that he would
tell was that he was on the basketball court and everyone was sweating but
him, so they started to call him Ice.

Carlester leaves to mourn: his father, Earnest Sherman; a devoted wife,
Grace Sherman; a son, Michael Sherman; a grandson, Little Mike; four
sisters, Ernestine, Shirley, Mary and Tammie; three brothers, Earnest,
Alphonso, and Keith; sisters-in-law, Dianne, Tanequa, Lisa (Kevin); broth-
ers-in-law, James (Brenda), Kenneth (Pamela), Eric (Sheila) and a host of
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
