Carlietha Beatrice Benbow, daughter of the late Margi Lee Elliot and Chester Curtis Benbow, was born on November 2, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland. On Saturday, November 29, 2014, God Opened the gates of Heaven to welcome her home into eternal rest and peace. Carlietha (B.K.A.) Lisa attended Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ. To say that Lisa enjoyed and lived life to the fullest would be an understatement. Lisa was a true friend to everyone, you could always count on her for a ride (late), or baking a cake. Lisa's laughter would brighten up any room, Lisa was a fun- loving people person. Lisa had many friends and was loved by everyone. Lisa enjoyed skating, dancing, cooking and travel- ing also spending time with family and friends. Lisa attended Northwestern High School where she was a honor student. She began her college education at West Vir- ginia State University then transferred to the Community Col- lege of Baltimore where she received her degree in Business Administration. Lisa worked for several State agencies for almost 30yrs. Currently for the State of Maryland in the Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), as a Procurement Specialist and was planning her retirement in 2016. Lisa leaves to cherish her memories: two loving daughters, Breanna and Zykeria; one sister, Linda; three brothers, Curtis, Chester and Dwayne; the matriarch, Vivian (aunt Bennie) and a host of other aunts and uncles; two god children Antwan and Rayschel; nieces, Sharia and Myshia and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
