Obituary

Carnell Lee, son of the late Josey and Eliza Jane Mashack Le, was born in the Lamar, South Carolina on February 5, 1942.He departed this life on August 27, 2016.

He receiv
e d his education in the Darlington Coun t y Public Schools. He w orked at Sparrows Point Shipyard. He also did mechanics working with cars and trucks.

Carnell was married to Frances Howard Lee, from their union they had three children.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; four brothers, Ray 1. Lee, Ulysses Lee, Lonnie A . Lee and Lawrence Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Carl E. Lee; two daughters, Francina Neely Lee and Donna Lee of Baltimore; three grandchildren, Tamela, Donald, TaRhonda; three great grandchildren, Kaylen, Nac- ari, Nehemiah; seven sisters, Fostine Jarmon, Pandora Phillips of Baltimore, Rudell Lyde, Naomi Carter, Valencia Lee of Lamar, SC, Florence Scott of Darlington, SC, Yvonne Lee of Columbia, SC; five sisters-in-law, Lillian Lee of Baltimore, Addie Mae Gaieny of Lamar, S'C, Ora Lee Prescott of Hartsville, S'C, Hattie (Bobby) Shannon of Sumter, SC, Janie Mae Lee of Hopkins, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
