Carol (Cookie) Hill, daughter of the late Carl and Lucy Miller, was born on December 5, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 22, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Carol was a member of the First Christ United Baptist Church for a number of years. She moved her membership to Divine Wisdom Christian Center Baptist Church where she became a founding and charter member. Carol was ordained and served as the diaconate chairperson. She attended the Baltimore city public school system. Carol graduated from Coppin State College with a Master Degree in Social work. Carol became a member of Delta Sigma Beta Sorority Zeta Epsilon Chapter in May 31st, 1971. Her many places of employment included working at Street Club Services, Western Electric and Student advisor at Catonsville Community College. Carol also taught at the North Laurel Senior Center Plus. Carol was always the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to travel and enjoy a good meal. Carol is survived by: her son, Dwayne Scott, (Shaula); grandson, Cito; sister, Annette Bryant of Norfolk, VA; brother, Sheikh Hassan Ali of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
