IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Madeline
Johnson
November 6, 1941 – June 3, 2024
Journey of
Carol Madeline Johnson was born on November 6,1941 to parents Carl and Ann Pechnick. She peacefully departed this life in her beloved home with her husband on June 3,2024
after a lengthy illness.
Carol received her formal education in Glen Burnie, she then attended school to become a Nursing Technician where she worked at St. Agnes Hospital for 15 years.
Carol loved the Lord from an early age accepting Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior. One of her favorite things to do was to go fishing with her parents and her husband "Pete". The outdoors was always a soothing and welcoming adventure for Carol especially hunting in West Virginia. Deep Creek Lake State Park and Black Waterfalls was an excellent place for Carol and Pete to go camping, and enjoy nature to its fullest.
Carol loved Elvis Presley; her favorite was the Christmas Tree that played one of his songs. She had everything Elvis from cups, to Christmas ornaments, to cuckoo-clocks and so much more. Carol's spirit was built around warmth, her smile and laughter you will always remember.
Carol could meet a stranger and by the time the visit was over you were now Darling and friends for a lifetime. Carol was a talker and would talk your ears off, that's the effect she had on all who knew her. You were always welcomed in her home like she knew you for years. When William Johnson first laid eyes on Carol, he knew at that moment she was the one for him. And In 1976 William and Carol became husband and wife on May 9,1976 in a Catholic Ceremony- 48 years later they are still best friends and their vows are stronger than ever. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ann Pechnick, Sister Anita, Son Michael, Daughter Geanine, Grandsons Donell and Jeter and granddaughters, Rachel and Kelly.
Carol leaves to cherish her everlasting memory:
Her husband William Johnson, her children: Allen, Kim (Lionel Hall), Gary (Shymaine), Diane, William Jr. (Jessica), Edward (Christina). Special relationships, Melissa and Nicholas Tackett, Teresa and George Coombs.
Best friends: Shirley Wheeler, Harry and Marie Peppding, Susan Gilliam and Susan Hewitt. Grandchildren: Terri, Allen, Bernard, Damon, Kimberly, Randall, Jordan, Trey, Ariel, Jordan Antonio, Maya and Jasmine.
39 great grandchildren. And a host of nieces and nephews.
"Mom"
You're now wading in the water at God's River you always talked about. Swimming with your mother and sister and Nene watching Crab Cake and Chi Chi run through the gently flowing grass. We love you and you'll never be forgotten.
"To My C. J"
To my lovely wife and best friend
When a loved one passes on, their spirit never dies. And as I journey on alone, You'll always be by my side. Yes, I believe this happens from little things I see. Each day an angel reveals a
little message to me.
A whisper on the breeze, on a quiet summer's day, is a voice from an angel Who has passed away.
The gently falling rain
That lingers upon my face, Are the tears falling from heaven, from my wife I can never replace.
The first snowflakes of winter Are an angel's frozen tears. A reminder of the love Carol and I shared
A falling leaf in autumn, is just another sign to let me know you're watching me And I'm still on your mind.
Yes, all these little signs,
They help me to believe That death is not the end And you're still here with me.
Loving submitted your husband and soulmate "Pete"
