She learned to play her favorite instrument the flute from Richard C. Kirby during Jr. High and High School. Carol gave her life to Christ at an early age, she was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Cherry Hill. In 1976 she gave birth to her first child Torrey, then Michelle in J977, and last but not least Rodney. Her children became the center of her life for they gave her purpose. She loved them dearly. She later went to workfor Joe Corbi Pizza where she worked close to 30 years. She worked in the bakery, the office and the warehouse. She was a hard and dependable worker, which later she became a supervisor. She made sure her family attended every party, cookout and affair the company had. It was like she wanted to bring her two families together. There she met and married her sweetheart Bernard Myers and they became inseparable.
