Obituary

Carole Elizabeth Turner (Harris) daughter of the late Marguerite and

James Harris, Jr. was born on January 19, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland.

She entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2019, after a brief stay at the Alice

Manor Healthcare due to a short battle with cancer.

Carole was raised in Cherry Hill where she received her formal education

in the Baltimore City School System. After-graduation, she alongside her

sister, Vemell, did modeling with local agencies. Carole received a license

in Cosmetology; being able to do hair for her family and all of her

neighborhood friends was a gift that she enjoyed. She also received her

nursing license where one of her greatest joys was her work at Kennedy

Krieger. Carole held various jobs throughout her life and even worked as

a bartender where she went by the alias "Charlie".

Carole was outgoing with a terrific sense of humor; an infectious smile and

laugh. Carole loved the "kids"! You could always count on her to babysit

her grands, great-grands or anyone else's kids for that matter. She loved

a cold Budweiser with a straw, and because of her love for kids, they could

get anything they wanted from Carole; including a little taste of that

Budweiser in a straw! That may be why her grandchildren hate beer to

this day!

Carole was world renowned for not holding back her opinion, and had a

knack for telling it like it is. Everyone she met was drawn to her energy.

Those who knew her well, know that she was always the life ofthe party.

She loved to dance, cook, and just have fun! Carole truly lived life to the

fullest through simple pleasures. What she may have lacked in worldly

possessions, she more than compensated with an over-abundance of

charisma, charm and feistiness and she will be sorely missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her three sons, Eddie Jr., David and

Nathaniel Sr. (Donna); six grandchildren, Monique, Lakia, Nathaniel Jr.,

Tynekia, Jerel and Rashard; eight great-grandchildren, Dae'quan, Dae'ja,

Dasean, Tyron, Ti'Chey, Kendin, Kamya and Jewel; one sister, Peggy

Harrington; two brothers, John (Cora) and Robert Harris; one brother-in-

law, Larry Bryant and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
