Mack, was born on December 28th,

1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. A

graduate of Edmondson High School

with a passion for nursing decided to

change her course to working in the

education system. At an early age

"Darby" professed her love for

working with children by volunteering

at Walter P. Carter Elementary School

as a cafeteria worker and then as a ~~~~ SPED

Educator. Through her tenure of serving for Baltimore City Public School

system, Mrs. Darby has spread her love to many schools such Govans,

Walter P. Carter,

Lake Clifton, and Mervo.

At the age of 17, Darby found the love of her life Mr. Leonard Darby at Edmondson

High School. Darby was Leonard's "sweet heart". He always used lovely words to make

her blush. The two were married on May 20th 1973 and conceived their first child 1 year

after marriage. Prince Leonard Charles Darby born on April 20th and zyrs later on

February 16th Princess Leonora Winder was born. The children grew up in East

Baltimore and later resided in the Govans community. Leonora and Leonard did

everything with their mother. From graduations to prom's and cookout's.
