Carolyn Elaine Daye-White was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on November 20, 1945, to Cassie Mae Daye and Wiley June Daye Sr. In 1951, her parents moved to Baltimore, MD. Carolyn was the eldest of her siblings: her brothers, Wiley Daye Jr., Channel Daye, Daye Daye, and a baby sister, Annie Mae Daye, who preceded her in death in2014.

Carolyn attended Baltimore City Schools and later married and had three children: Ferdinand C.White who preceded her in death, Carleen E. White and Ursula D. White. She also leaves behind: her grandchildren, Antonio White, Shauniku White, India White, and Kendra White; seven great grandchildren; two great nieces and a nephew; and some very dear and close friends: Donald Whittaker, Shelly Grant, Michael Wright.

Carolyn loved the Lord and always made sure that her kids did too. She was a very caring and loving person to all that she came in contact with, even the people she didn't know. She had the biggest heart in the world. She came, she saw, she conquered. The life of any party, moment or event, she could put a smile on your face and love in your heart.
