Carolyn M. Greer, daughter of the late Oliver J. Greer, Sr. and Alice RL. Jews, was born November 12,1944 in Balti- more, Maryland. The Lord loaned us His servant and called her to rest on August 18, 2014. Carolyn received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She took Shorthand classes in Baltimore City College at night after graduating from high school. She took a few courses in the Baltimore City Community College. Carolyn worked in the Department of Education for many years as a Sec- retary, Principal Clerk Stenographer and Office Supervisor. Carolyn joined Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church many years ago. She served as Financial Secretary on the Finance Committee. When she stepped down as Financial Secretary, she continued to work on the Finance Committee. She was appointed as a Steward on the Board of Stewards and a Class Leader. She loved to support different organizations in the church. Carolyn loved to read. Carolyn's love of travel started when her mother took her on her first trip. During the summer Carolyn and her mother traveled in and out of the United States cruising and flying to different countries for many years. She leaves to mourn: her sister, Vonzella L. Daley; her niece, CynthiaC. Williams (husband Larry); nephew, Temujin H. Greer (wife Jade); nephews, Darrick Greer, Leroy L. Daley IV, George Anthony Jones, Jonathan C. Greer Jr.; nieces, Dana Greer, LaToya Greer, Cynthia Dixon (husband Lionel); Barbara Greer sister-in-law; Leroy Daley III brother-in-law; great niec- es, Lakeisha Williams, Jadawn Williams, Yavona Pirali (hus- band Angelo), Brittany Muse; great nephews, Nafis Davis, Ronald Christian, Leroy Daley V (wife Mary Ann) Shaquille and Jaden McCray; great great nephew, Tyrone Murray; her ad- opted sister/lawyer, B. Harriett Taylor; adopted sister and best friend, Christine Barksdale; and a host of other great great niec- es, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors, Jerry and Janice Napel. Mother, Alice R L. Jews, father, Oliver J. Greer Sr.; brothers, Oliver J. Jr., Jonathan Sr. and Howard R Greer and her niece, Stephanie Davis, all preceded her in death.
