IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carrie Lee
Crank
January 27, 1979 – May 11, 2025
Carrie Lee Crank, daughter of Raymond and Jacqueline Crank was born on January 29,1979, at Virginia Baptist in Lynchburg, VA. She departed this life on May 11, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
She received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System and later pursued medical record keeping at Fortis Institute, in Towson MD.
In her early years, she was employed at The Maryland School for the Blind, followed by Kiddie Academy. Carrie never married or had children of her own, but she deeply adored her beloved emotional support dog, Carly, and lovingly thought of her nieces and nephews as her own.
Carrie's deep love for God was the foundation of her life. It shaped the way she loved others with grace, compassion, and patience. Her faith gave her strength in difficult times and joy in everyday moments. It was evident in her words of encouragement, and her desire to bring people together.
Carrie had her own unique relationships with her family and friends that were very special to each of them. She laughed at her own jokes and always had a funny story to tell about everyone in her life. Her quiet pursuit to keep her family close through phone calls, group chats and video calls became the glue that kept her family connected through the years. Her nurturing personality and light hearted spirit will forever be missed by the loved one's that she touched with her life.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving mother and father, Jacqueline and Raymond Crank; Grandmother Mildred Fleet and Carrie L Cephus, three brothers, Dana (Theresa), Daron (Mi.a), Damon Crank, sister Raena Crank, aunts, Verna, Carolyn, Diana; three cousins that she considered as sisters, Esther, Kimberly and Latrice, and three special friends Kyonae, Rainah and Nichelle and host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles and family.
"If Tears Could Build A Stairway, And Memories A Lane, I'd Walk Right Up To Heaven And Bring You Home Again."
