Carrie Mae Ellis, daughter of Gertrude Peterson and the late Christopher Nathaniel Ellis Sr., was born on October 3, 1951. She departed this life on December 17, 2008. She received her education in the Baltimore City public schools, continuing her education at Baltimore City Community College. She furthered her education in Cosmetology. She received her Associadte of Arts degree in Respiratory Therapy. She also was licensed in the State of Maryland as a Notary Public. She was a member of the Elks, who referred to her as "daughter." Carrie made numerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. She was aslways a true friend and devoted family woman. She leaves to mourn; her moth, Gertrude Peterson; two sister, Gertrude Talbott and Geraldine Walton; three brothers, Christopher Ellis, Willie Ellis and Leon Ellis; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins asnd in-laws, who will miss her dearly.
