Carrie Louise Jenkins, daughter of the late William and Mary Dorsey, was born on November 27, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on August 17, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Carrie received her education in baltimore City Public Schools. She married the late Joseph Burton Jenkins on April 9, 1943 and out of this union three children were born, Patricia Wray, Joseph Burton Jenkins Jr. and Vanessa Jenkins. Carrie was lovingly knon as ''Granny'' by her familyand friends. She will always be remembered a a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a caring great-grandmother, and wise women to all who came in contact with her. her wit and wisdom made a positive impact on all of those who sought her advice and oopinion. She leaves to cherish: her devotd daughter, Patricia Wray son-in-law Garland Wray; son, Joseph Burton Jenkins jr. daughter -in-law Ann Jenkins; daughter, Vanessa Jenkins; five grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
